Privacy & Data

Your data, handled with care

Last updated: 7 July 2026 · Founding-cohort waitlist

This notice covers the information you share when you join the NaviTask founding-cohort waitlist. It is written plainly on purpose — NaviTask is built dignity-first, and that starts with how we treat your data.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect only what you enter in the form:

We do not collect your student's name, login credentials, grades, or any school-account data on this waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not connect any school system.

Why we collect it

Solely to operate the waitlist: to contact you about founding-cohort access and the beta, and to plan cohorts. That's it.

What we don't do

Children & families

NaviTask is a parent-paid product for students, and this waitlist is for parents and guardians — not children. We intentionally avoid collecting information that identifies a minor. When the product itself launches, access to any student's school systems will be parent-consent-first, with COPPA- and FERPA-aligned handling on our roadmap.

How it's stored

Waitlist entries are stored in a secured database with least-privilege access. The sign-up form can only add an entry — it cannot read the list back. Access is limited to the NaviTask team.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it at any time — just email us and we'll take care of it. Unsubscribing from beta emails removes you from the waitlist.

Contact

Questions about your data, or want it removed? Email hello@navi-task.com and we'll respond.

This notice applies to the waitlist only and will be replaced by a full product privacy policy before the beta connects any school systems.
